A group of wonderful Neo-natal Intensive Care nurses at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto commissioned me to do a portrait of a family who after receiving the superlative care given at St. Mike's for their premature infant gave back by creating a fundraising event called Malachy's Soiree which raised more than $450K in its first year for the NICU at St. Michael's Hospital. The framed painting was presented at the fundraiser.
